Commercial Turf Has to Be Done Right and On Time
On a commercial or new-construction site, sod is often one of the last items between you and an inspection, an occupancy date or a handover. It's also one of the most visible. A patchy, seamed-up lawn at the front entrance or along a subdivision boulevard gets noticed by buyers, tenants and inspectors alike.
The risks are predictable: sod laid over compacted subgrade that browns out by midsummer, seams that open up because the ground underneath was never levelled, slopes that wash out in the first heavy rain, and a crew that disappears for a week when the schedule slips.
We approach commercial work the same way we approach a homeowner's yard, just at a larger scale. We confirm the grade, prepare the ground properly, lay fresh-cut sod tight, and stay in contact with your site team from the first walk to the final sign-off.

Commercial Sodding FAQ
What size projects do you take on?
Tell us the size and timeline at the site walk. We'll confirm a realistic daily install rate, and if the project is bigger than we can handle in one phase, we'll say so up front and suggest a phased schedule.
Can you provide WSIB clearance and insurance certificates?
Yes. We provide a current WSIB clearance certificate and proof of liability insurance before we mobilize, and update them for longer projects.
Can you work to a builder's schedule?
Yes. Give us your target dates at the site walk, and we'll schedule the install and sod deliveries around them and keep your site team updated if weather moves anything.
Do you handle watering after install?
New sod needs consistent watering for its first few weeks. We'll agree up front who is responsible.
